JURA whiskey distillery was founded in 1810 and it is situated on Jura Island, and is one of a kind here. 20 out of 212 inhabitants of the island work in the distillery and make this whiskey.
Jura whiskey is distilled in copper pot stills, which are one of the slimmest in Scotland (the slimmer the stills, the purer the final whiskey).
