
Dalmore 18 Years Old
The whisky is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes. The whiskey is then matured in barrels from which 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry has been kept. These personally supervised sherry barrels give whiskey its rich, deep chocolate character.
Nose and palete
Vanilla, dark chocolate, oranges and cinnamon, as well as nutmeg and soft licorice.
